I have been writing an article for Arno Nell's SharePointMagazine.net and have been repeating some things I've said in User Groups over the last two years of working with SharePoint 2007.
The biggest thing for me is how oversold SharePoint 2007 is as a solution, for example, how Organisations can take it on without getting in expert help to implement it. EndUserSharePoint also has a post that picks up on this and I'll be interested to hear the results from Mark's requests.
It's a lot to do with Corporate Culture and Mark Schneider uses a great metaphor to explain that it's not the Hardware or the Software that is the issue...most of the time it's the "PeopleWare".
I'm just putting together the 3rd post in my series on Leveraging the SharePoint Platform for the magazine and hopefully I'll enlighten the community a bit more on my experiences and give some recommendations. It's just good to see other people on the same page!
