CruiseControlException: Source control operation failed

We've been using CruiseControl at my workplace now for a month and have had no problems apart from this sneaky one...it only happens once in a while and I've not really found anything on the web regarding the error apart from Jerry's similar issue. It's a bit of a pain, because you get a status of Exception and although immediately you just guess that it's this error...you then have to force restart them.

The error comes up as:

ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.CruiseControlException: Source control operation failed: . Process command: H:\win32\ss.exe history $/SiteManager -R -Vd15/12/2005;10:33a~14/12/2005;4:10p -Yjthake, -I-Y at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.Sourcecontrol.ProcessSourceControl.Execute(ProcessInfo processInfo) at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.Sourcecontrol.ProcessSourceControl.GetModifications(ProcessInfo info, DateTime from, DateTime to) at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.Sourcecontrol.Vss.GetModifications(IIntegrationResult from, IIntegrationResult to) at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.Sourcecontrol.QuietPeriod.GetModifications(ISourceControl sourceControl, IIntegrationResult lastBuild, IIntegrationResult thisBuild) at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.IntegrationRunner.RunIntegration(BuildCondition buildCondition)

Be nice if anyone else has any suggestions about this...
